Now Hiring:
Entry-Level, Part-Time, and Experienced Truck Mechanics Waters Equipment Company is growing—and we're looking for motivated technicians to join our team! We specialize in the installation, repair, and maintenance of Fisher and Boss snowplows and snow equipment. Please note:
This is an ongoing position. We are always accepting applications from talented individuals. --- Responsibilities
  • Assemble new snowplows and install snow equipment.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on various brands of snowplows and snow-handling equipment.
  • Diagnose issues involving electrical, hydraulic, drivetrain, brake, engine, and suspension systems, then complete necessary repairs.
  • Document clear, detailed descriptions of failure causes and repair procedures on Repair Orders. --- Primary Duties
  • Use diagnostic tools to identify vehicle faults and interpret results.
  • Review written fault descriptions and determine efficient repair solutions.
  • Communicate repair details clearly with the Shop Foreman for Repair Order documentation.
  • Obtain supervisor approval before completing or adding repairs.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to obtain required components.
  • Perform road and field tests on customer vehicles to assist with problem identification.
  • Track and record labor hours accurately to the correct Repair Order.
  • Write detailed repair descriptions including cause of failure and corrective actions.
  • Interact professionally and positively with customers.
  • Assist fellow technicians when needed. --- Requirements
  • High School Diploma required; technical degree, certificate, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Personal tool inventory preferred; basic tools available for entry-level technicians.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to obtain a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Ability to read and interpret repair orders, manuals, electrical schematics, and technical bulletins.
  • Basic computer skills, including Windows and keyboard usage.
  • Ability to work in outdoor conditions and variable weather.
  • Ability to work 8-10 hour shifts with overtime as needed.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, crawl, walk, and sit regularly; frequent lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting up to 100 lbs.
Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time Pay:
$18.00 - $28.00 per hour
