Automotive Rust Protection Technician Krown of Northern Grand Rapids Grand Rapids, MI Job Details Part-time | Full-time $19.75 - $23.50 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Customer communication In-person customer service Direct client contact No experience needed Driver's License Full Job Description Krown Rust Control of Grand Rapids is hiring an Automotive Rust Protection Technician for our busy season and potentially beyond. No experience necessary — we'll train you, though candidates with a proven work history are strongly preferred. Please include a resume with your application. What you'll do: Apply Krown rust-protection product to customer vehicles (doors, rocker panels, fenders, wheel wells, undercarriage) Prep vehicles before spraying and clean up after Keep the shop and equipment clean and organized Work hands-on, side-by-side with a teammate all day What we're looking for: Reliable, punctual, and hardworking, with a solid, verifiable work history Comfortable with physical labor in a shop environment (bending, lifting, standing most of the shift) Professional communication skills — you'll be representing our shop directly to customers Valid driver's license No industry experience needed — full training provided Pay structure: $16.00/hour base pay Plus $5.00 commission for every vehicle completed while you're on shift At our current pace of 6-12 vehicles per day, tech should earn $19-$23+/hour , with room to go higher on our busiest days Why work here: Straightforward hourly + commission pay — no confusing structure, no cap on what you can earn Small, local, owner-operated shop Room to grow into a long-term role if it's a good fit on both sides
