SUMMARY Engages in repairing and maintaining truck and trailer equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair of tractor and trailer equipment. Assists Drivers in diagnosing malfunctions of tractor and trailer equipment. Changes tires as needed. Performs Preventative Maintenance as scheduled and documents findings. Recommends measures to equipment performance. Maintains 5-S Standards set for the work environment. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Follows company policies in enforcing safety regulations. May be involved in janitorial services as well as landscape and trash removal.

Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour
