Job Description
Keweenaw Chevrolet GMC is looking for an energetic, customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. In this role, you'll be the key connection between our customers and service department—delivering a professional, welcoming experience while helping ensure every vehicle service visit runs smoothly from start to finish. Job Overview The Service Advisor greets customers, helps assess service needs, coordinates scheduling, and keeps customers informed throughout the repair and maintenance process. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, and confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Welcome customers to the service department and provide a professional first impression.
- Consult with technicians to explain recommended repairs and service options clearly.
- Educate customers on available OEM and aftermarket parts options.
- Answer customer questions about services performed, timelines, and outcomes.
- Advise customers on warranty coverage and opportunities for cost savings.
- Create repair orders and route vehicles appropriately for maintenance and repair.
- Maintain accurate customer and vehicle service records.
- Schedule appointments by phone, online, in person, and for walk-in customers.
- Monitor service progress and proactively update customers on changes and vehicle readiness.
