Available Job Overview We are hiring experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for a large automotive manufacturing facility in Howell, MI. This facility specializes in Class A metal stamping, automated assembly, robotic welding, and in-house tooling and die operations for major automotive manufacturers. Maintenance Technicians are responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running efficiently, responding to breakdowns, troubleshooting equipment, and completing preventative and emergency repairs. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with strong long-term earning potential and advancement opportunities. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair production machinery and equipment Perform preventative and emergency maintenance to minimize downtime Diagnose electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical problems Repair and maintain automated manufacturing equipment Troubleshoot PLCs, robotics, and automated systems Work on mechanical handling and production systems Install, remove, modify, and repair production equipment Read and interpret electrical and mechanical prints/schematics Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns during production Work closely with production and maintenance teams to keep equipment operational Qualifications 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred Manufacturing or automotive experience strongly preferred Experience troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems Experience with production machinery and automated equipment PLC and/or robotics troubleshooting experience is a strong plus Ability to diagnose equipment problems and perform repairs independently Comfortable working overtime as needed Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Schedule 2nd

2:00 PM•10:30 PM 3rd
Shift:
10:00 PM•6:30 AM Candidates must be comfortable with significant overtime and working additional days when production requires it. Training will initially take place on 1st shift.
