Job description: Grand Rental offers a large variety of small and large equipment rentals to tackle everything from difficult jobs to unique projects. Our inventory also includes Bobcat construction and ground maintenance equipment, and CFMOTO brand of off-road vehicles, including ATVs, Side x Sides and Utility Side x Sides. We are looking for additional mechanics to join our team to service and repair bobcat equipment as well as our rental fleet equipment. The right people for this job will be those who are motivated to deliver quality work, are organized, and have the ability to communicate professionally with other team members. Job duties:

• Become bobcat service certified.
• Complete continuing education through bobcat equipment company.
• Document all work performed on service orders.
• Repair of advanced electrical issues, testing of switches and sensors.
• Diagnose failures of equipment, remove, and replace parts as necessary.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment based on manufacturers' recommendations.
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
• Some welding and light fabrication.
• Loading and unloading of equipment when needed.
• Delivery and pick up equipment with pickup truck and trailer.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Maintain shop and rental yard cleanliness and organization.
• Maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws.

Qualifications:

Experience in diagnosing and the maintenance of small engines to diesel engines. Experience working with electrical and hydraulic systems. Able to pass random drug tests. Have a clean driving record and valid driver's license. Ability to work in a team setting. Effective communication skills to interact with customers and other employees with a positive attitude. Able to maintain a clean and organized work environment. Ability to learn new computer systems quickly. Must be able to follow directions and trouble shoot problems quickly and efficiently. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 75lbs. Must be able to kneel and walk up and down on trailers and equipment. Must be able to work in all types of Michigan weather.
