AIS construction equipment has been family owned and operated for 59 years. AIS has 6 branches within the state of Michigan. AIS offers sales, service, parts and rentals for all makes and models of equipment.
Fleet Solutions Job Descriptions:
Hose Tech:
A skilled technician that operates a service truck fully stocked with hydraulic hose and fittings. Providing on-site hydraulic hose replacement, diagnosis, and repairs across Michigan. This technician will provide services to all makes and models of construction equipment and/or other products across the industry. Hose technicians also have the opportunity to fabricate and custom build steel hydraulic lines in our steel line shop.
Fleet PM Tech:
Preventative maintenance on large off-road equipment. Diagnosing and repairing/correcting mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems. Preventative maintenance, changing oil, batteries, lubricating. Installing auto-lube systems on equipment. Adjusting engine valve lash per OEM intervals. Fleet PM Techs serve many customers that use equipment for many different applications. All work is completed at the customer's location/job site. A fleet PM technician will operate a company service truck throughout the state of Michigan.

Al Schafer 517-204-2231 Job Requirements 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED. Diesel Engine repair training or equal experience. Willing to submit to a pre-employment, criminal and driving background review. Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug screening. Able to read, write and communicate (speak, hear and understand) English. Work a 40-hour workweek, with flexible hours as needed. Able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds with or without assistance. Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and be able to attain a CDL. Able to use hands to perform activities involving holding, grasping, turning and pulling. Able to work in conditions that include loud noise and fumes, work on and around heavy and moving machinery, bend, walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time and use hand tools. Follow safety policies and procedures and wear the required personal protective equipment required for the job in a safe manner
