Job Summary Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician, where your expertise will drive exceptional vehicle care and customer satisfaction. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical proficiency and technical skills will be essential in delivering top-tier automotive service, whether working on gasoline or diesel engines, transmissions, or electrical systems. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, electrical wiring, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical systems with precision and efficiency. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical problems accurately. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete repairs while adhering to safety standards. Execute wheel alignments and vehicle transmission system repairs to ensure proper operation and customer satisfaction. Assist in vehicle maintenance procedures for both new and used vehicles, including GM models if applicable. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process. Requirements Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair. Proficiency in interpreting automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and understanding vehicle systems such as ADAS and electrical components. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and auto estimating software. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and overall automotive repair techniques. Ability to work efficiently on vehicle maintenance tasks while maintaining high quality standards. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not mandatory. Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; ongoing training in automotive electrical systems or advanced diagnostics is advantageous. $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
