Must have reliable transportation, and your own tools. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems and schematics to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, shocks & struts, and brake systems. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability. Repair diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for mechanical repairs and auto body work when necessary. Service ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and auto electrical systems to enhance vehicle safety features. Maintain detailed repair records, complete auto estimating tasks accurately, and communicate clearly with customers about repair needs. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge covering transmissions, diesel engines, powertrain systems, and mechanical repairs. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, schematics reading, and automotive electrical systems troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with auto body repair, welding, shocks & struts replacement. Knowledge of GM vehicles or similar brands is advantageous but not required. Ability to use various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
