3+ years of hands-on automotive technician experience Position Summary Promotive is hiring a B Level Automotive Technician for a highly rated, community-focused shop in New Haven, MI . This full-time role is ideal for a well-rounded tech with strong diagnostic skills, 3+ years of experience, and the drive to turn 40+ hours a week without micromanagement. Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics and repair work on domestic and import vehicles (brakes, steering, suspension, and drivability issues) Complete BG flushes and routine maintenance services Use scan tools and lab scopes to diagnose check engine lights and other fault codes Follow flowcharts and perform accurate, efficient repair work Assist and collaborate with team members in a supportive, laid-back environment Maintain clean work areas and adhere to shop safety and repair standards Requirements 3+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician Strong diagnostic skills — capable of scanning, scoping, and troubleshooting independently Solid experience with steering, suspension, brakes, and general mechanical repairs Ability to obtain ASE certifications (current ASEs a plus) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must be willing to contribute positively to team culture and productivity Willingness to continue to grow your skills / knowledge
Compensation & Benefits Hourly Pay:
$30.00 -$35.00 /hr Depending on Experience + Overtime Quarterly productivity bonuses Top techs earn over $100K annually with bonuses Weekly pay schedule Tool relocation assistance available
