Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Test Technician to join our innovative engineering team. This role involves conducting comprehensive testing and inspection of automotive components and systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in verifying product quality, reliability, and performance through advanced testing techniques and meticulous analysis. SCHEDULE

• On-Site 5 days/week 2ND

OR 3RD SHIFT

• MANDATORY 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 10:00pm-6:30AM Looking for dyno testing experience, fabrication capability, and troubleshooting / problem solving experience.

Engine development manual testing with calibration and hardware development.

ASSOCIATE'S DEGREE IS REQUIRED SAFETY

Provide a safe working environment for everyone entering the area. 1. Learn and follow all safety procedures. 2. Verify everyone (including visitors) in area of responsibility follows safety rules and procedures. 3. Maintain a safe and clean workspace (WPO). 4. Identify, communicate and escalate unsafe work conditions. 5. Notify Group or Team Leader (or escalate per process) when a safety incident occurs. 6. Support resolution on all unsafe conditions and near misses. 7. Utilize PPE. 8. Understand the 2 foot rule, Orange Crush Zone and Evacuation & Take Shelter locations. 9. Be aware of hazardous communication program.

PEOPLE:

Maintain acceptable attendance practices. 10. Attend team meetings.

Notify Team Leader/Group Leader of quality related issues. 4. Assist/Coach team members not following quality processes/procedures. 5. Support resolution to all quality issues. 6. Ensure containment processes are followed. 7. Identify defects in/out area. 8. Understand and follows problem escalation process. 9. Utilize Andon.

Responsiveness:

Respond appropriately to meet the customer's requirements. 1. Understand daily work assignment(s). 2. Meet with Team Leader at start of shift to get daily assignment(s). 3. Able to use Andon system in accordance with escalation process. 4. Participate in Throughput Improvement Processes (TIP) meetings. 5. Ensure scrap and non-conforming material is identified and set aside for processing.

COST:

Utilize continuous improvement to identify and eliminate the 7 forms of waste. 1. Understand and support elimination of waste (COMMWIP) waste. 2. Aware of cost of supplies, energy, and parts for waste elimination. 3. Assist team accurate documenting of scrap and non-conforming material. 4. Participate in team CI objectives and BPD metrics. 5. Seek efficiency in all activities to reduce cost.

ENVIRONMENT

Engage in practices to minimize our environmental footprint. 1. Understand and follow the applicable environmental policy. 2. Support conserving energy and minimizing waste. 3. Actively support recycling processes (water, air, materials, etc.)
