Job Overview We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Electrical/Drivability Automotive Technician to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for an automotive technician who takes pride in quality repairs, stays current with evolving automotive technology, and is committed to delivering a high level of service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair engine performance issues (misfires, stalling, check engine lights, rough idling, fuel system issues) on cars and light trucks. Perform electrical diagnostic work using scan tools, multimeters, and wiring schematics to fix starting, charging, lighting, and sensor/module issues. Operate aftermarket and OEM-level diagnostic equipment to retrieve codes and read live data streams. Handle routine maintenance and mechanical repairs, including brakes, steering, suspension, air conditioning, and tune-ups as needed. Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs performed, and parts required Qualifications 5-7 years hands-on diagnostic and repair experience in an auto repair shop facility ASE certifications in Electrical/Electronic Systems (A6) and Engine Performance (A8) ASE Master Automobile Technician certification is a plus Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, engine management, and vehicle networks High School Diploma or GED preferred Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience with scan tools and modern vehicle technology Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
Expected Hours:
8 AM - 5:30 PM (No Weekends)
