Responsibilities Assist with routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, tire service, and basic mechanical repairs Support senior technicians with diagnostics and minor mechanical repairs on standard passenger cars Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and automotive diagnostic equipment effectively and safely Help perform vehicle alignments and inspections to ensure optimal performance and safety Participate in automotive service activities including brake servicing, suspension checks, and other preventive maintenance tasks Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards at all times Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with customers about their vehicle needs and services performed Skills Dealership or automotive repair experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation, maintenance, and repair processes Familiarity with standard passenger car systems and automotive diagnostics tools Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and operate hand tools and power tools efficiently Basic understanding of automotive fluid replacement procedures such as oil changes and coolant flushes Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward assisting clients Willingness to learn about alignment procedures, tire servicing, minor mechanical repairs, and overall vehicle maintenance This paid Technician Trainee role offers an exciting pathway into the automotive industry.
