Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Recreational Vehicle (RV and Motorhome) Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of RV systems and components to ensure our customers' vehicles are safe, reliable, and ready for the road. Your expertise will help deliver exceptional service and support to RV owners, ensuring their travel experiences are smooth and enjoyable. This position offers an exciting opportunity for technicians with a passion for automotive repair, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics on RV electrical systems, including troubleshooting wiring issues, system failures, and component malfunctions using automotive electrical systems knowledge. Conduct repairs on RV plumbing systems, including leak detection, pipe replacement, and system maintenance to ensure optimal operation. Service and repair mechanical components such as engines, shocks & struts, suspension systems, brakes, HVAC units, and diesel engines to maintain vehicle safety and performance. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and heavy lifting to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, vehicle inspections, and fluid replacements to keep RVs in top condition. Diagnose complex issues using automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical troubleshooting skills; recommend necessary repairs or replacements. Assist with assembly or disassembly of RV components during repairs or upgrades; ensure all work meets safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Skills Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong foundation in automotive repair and diagnostics. Extensive electrical experience including RV electrical system diagnostics and repair of automotive electrical systems. Mechanical knowledge covering engines, suspensions, HVAC systems, brakes, shocks & struts, diesel engines, and heavy equipment repair. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering techniques, and other mechanical repair tools. Experience with plumbing system maintenance and repair within RVs; familiarity with RV plumbing systems is a plus. Ability to perform basic vehicle troubleshooting quickly and accurately; strong diagnostic skills are essential. Knowledge of alignment procedures and suspension work to optimize vehicle handling. Ability to lift heavy objects safely while maintaining proper technique; physically fit for demanding tasks. Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to multitask in a busy workshop environment. Pay:
$18.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
