Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately. Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension, shocks & struts, brakes, and steering. Execute routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards. Repair or replace critical components like ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brakes, and auto body parts with precision. Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to complete repairs swiftly while maintaining safety protocols. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical problems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Experience Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic background working with diverse vehicle makes and models. Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, including electrical systems and engine performance troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body repair, welding, and automotive electrical systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar brands is a plus. Ability to read schematics accurately and work confidently with automotive maintenance procedures such as oil changes, alignments, suspension work, tire service, brake repair, and transmission repairs. Experience working with powertrain components and performing complex repairs involving ADAS technology or air brake systems is advantageous.
