Job Overview We are seeking a digitally savvy Electromechanical Assembly Supervisor to lead our production team in building high-end robotic cells and custom assembly equipment. You will be the critical link between our Electrical Engineering department and the shop floor, utilizing ePlan and cloud-based collaboration tools to ensure that our automotive and industrial automation projects are built to exact specifications, on time, and in full compliance with UL508A standards.

Duties Digital Workflow Management:

Lead the shift from paper to digital by managing project documentation via ePlan eVIEW . Use Cloud Redlining to communicate real-time design changes, errors, or "as-built" adjustments back to the engineering team.

Team Leadership:

Supervise a multidisciplinary team of Electricians and Mechanical Technicians, ensuring timely completion of production schedules. Manage daily schedules, workload balancing, and technical mentorship.

Standards & Safety:

Act as the shop-floor authority on UL508A (Industrial Control Panels). Ensure all builds meet machine safety standards (ISO 13849-1) and internal quality benchmarks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized workspace

Technical Troubleshooting:

Provide "hands-on" support during the power-on and debugging phases of robotic cells, semi-manual stations, and custom conveyors.

Quality & Buy-off:

Conduct final inspections of electromechanical systems. Ensure that all terminal diagrams, wire lists, and BOMs generated in ePlan are accurately reflected in the physical build.

Project Collaboration:

Work closely with project managers and customers during shop-floor "buy-offs," using digital twins and 3D layouts to demonstrate system functionality. Experience 5+ years in the automation/robotics industry, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role. Proven experience in manufacturing or assembly environments with a focus on electromechanical systems Familiarity with mechanical assembly processes using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately Leadership experience supervising assembly teams or manufacturing operations is highly preferred Candidates with specific certifications in ePlan or formal UL508A training. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Required completion of a technical trade school program, apprenticeship, or military training in Electromechanical Technology, Mechatronics, or Industrial Electricity.
