Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems including engines, electrical systems, and transmissions. Repair and overhaul powertrain components such as diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains with precision and efficiency. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical problems accurately. Conduct alignment procedures and wheel balancing to ensure proper vehicle handling and safety. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and manual handling techniques to execute repairs on various vehicle makes and models, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain detailed service records, complete repair reports, and document diagnostic findings clearly for quality assurance. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to enhance vehicle longevity. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or extensive background as a Master Mechanic with a strong track record in automotive repair. Deep understanding of automotive engine technology, electrical systems, and powertrain components. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics using industry-standard tools and software. Skilled in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for complex repairs. Experience working with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) technology is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, auto body work, welding, and alignment procedures. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during maintenance tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills coupled with a commitment to quality workmanship. Valid certifications in automotive repair; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification preferred but not mandatory.
