Overview Needhams Leaf & Lawn Services is looking for a dependable, experienced mechanic to help maintain and repair our trucks, lawn mowers, Bobcats, and other small equipment. We are a small, local business looking for someone who is comfortable working on a variety of equipment and can diagnose problems, make repairs, and help keep everything running properly. Duties Diagnose and repair trucks, lawn mowers, Bobcats, and small equipment Perform routine and preventative maintenance Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues Repair or replace brakes, suspension, belts, bearings, batteries, and other components as needed Perform oil changes, fluid changes, tune-ups, and other general maintenance Perform basic welding and fabrication when needed Help keep equipment maintained and ready for daily use Keep the work area and tools organized Requirements Previous mechanical experience Experience working on trucks, lawn equipment, small engines, or heavy equipment Ability to diagnose and repair common mechanical problems Basic knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems Ability to use hand and power tools safely Welding experience is a plus Must be dependable and able to work independently Ability to lift and handle parts and equipment as needed Pay & Schedule Pay will depend on experience and qualifications. Work schedule and hours may vary depending on workload, equipment needs, and the season. We are looking for someone who is mechanically skilled, dependable, and comfortable working on different types of trucks and equipment.
