Job Description

Job Summary Auto Repair and Tires by Us is looking to expand our workforce as we look to expand our client base. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires hands-on expertise in automotive systems and a commitment to delivering quality service to our customers. Responsibilities Perform thorough inspections of vehicles to identify mechanical issues and diagnose problems accurately. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems. Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot complex automotive problems. Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and quality expectations. Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each vehicle. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and provide recommendations for ongoing maintenance. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and repair techniques. Experience Proven experience as an auto mechanic or in a similar role within an auto garage environment. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures. Ability to operate diagnostic tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good communication skills to interact with team members and customers effectively. Relevant certifications or technical training in automotive repair are preferred but not mandatory. From $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
