Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Used Vehicle Technician to join our growing dealership team. In this role, you'll inspect, diagnose, repair, and recondition pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards before they reach our customers. If you take pride in producing quality work and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections on incoming used vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns. Complete maintenance services including oil changes, brakes, tires, batteries, belts, hoses, and fluid services. Perform suspension, steering, cooling system, and engine repairs as needed. Utilize diagnostic equipment to accurately identify vehicle issues. Complete multi-point inspections and document recommended repairs. Ensure vehicles meet dealership safety, quality, and appearance standards. Work closely with the Used Vehicle Manager and Service Advisors to prioritize vehicle reconditioning. Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation. Keep work area clean while following all safety procedures. Stay current on vehicle technology and repair techniques through ongoing training. Qualifications Previous experience as an automotive technician required. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience working on multiple makes and models is highly desirable. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record. Ability to operate diagnostic scan tools and repair equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
