Job Title:
Mechanic Job Description This role is dedicated to maintaining and servicing snow equipment, including wheel loaders, dump trucks, skid steers, track loaders, motor graders, and tractors. The position involves a wide range of mechanical tasks to ensure the equipment operates smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities Perform hydraulic system repairs, including hose and line replacement, pump and motor overhauls, cylinder rebuilding, and valve block service. Conduct undercarriage and drive maintenance, such as track system overhauls, tire and axle service, and drive chain adjustments. Execute engine and powertrain service, including routine fluid and filter changes, cooling system cleans, and fuel system repairs. Carry out electrical troubleshooting and repairs. Essential Skills Experience in repair and maintenance of diesel trucks and equipment. Proficiency in hydraulics, brake systems, and preventive maintenance. Ability to perform welding and both truck and trailer repair. Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong mechanical inclination. Experience working on trucks or vehicles. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various mechanical systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Clearwater, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $33.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
