Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and customer-focused Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between customers and our service department, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for every client. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and dealership experience will help you accurately assess vehicle needs, recommend appropriate services, and drive customer satisfaction. Duties Greet customers warmly and listen carefully to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs Conduct thorough vehicle inspections and utilize estimating software to prepare detailed repair estimates Communicate effectively with customers about recommended services, repairs, and costs, ensuring transparency and trust Upsell additional services such as oil changes, tire services, brake repairs, alignments, suspension work, shocks & struts, air brake systems, transmissions, and collision repairs to maximize customer value Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, track progress, and ensure timely completion of work Manage service writing tasks accurately while maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and vehicle history Handle cash transactions professionally and maintain accurate financial records Use computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools to assess collision damage and prepare repair plans Assist customers with automobile sales when appropriate by providing product information and financing options Maintain excellent client communication throughout the service process to ensure high levels of satisfaction Qualifications Proven dealership or automotive service management experience with a strong understanding of auto repair processes Hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures Proficiency in estimating software and computer-aided vehicle damage estimating tools Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, brakes, suspension, tires, shocks & struts, air brake systems, alignments, oil changes, collision repair, auto body repair, and automotive diagnostics Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients Ability to upsell services effectively while maintaining integrity and transparency Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; driving experience preferred Strong mechanical knowledge combined with sales skills to recommend appropriate services confidently Join us as an Automotive Service Advisor where your enthusiasm for cars combined with your dedication to customer satisfaction will make a real difference.
