Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled inspections. Repair and replace brakes, air brake systems, suspension components, axles, hubs, and wheel-end components. Diagnose and repair trailer lighting and electrical systems. Repair doors, hinges, landing gear, liftgates, floors, roofs, and trailer frames. Inspect and repair air lines, valves, and other pneumatic components. Perform welding and fabrication repairs when required. Replace damaged tires and perform wheel and hub service. Use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and welding equipment safely. Complete inspection reports, maintenance records, and repair documentation. Ensure trailers comply with applicable DOT safety requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous experience repairing semi-trailers, heavy trucks, or commercial equipment preferred. Knowledge of trailer braking, suspension, electrical, and air systems. Welding and fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to safely lift heavy components and work in physically demanding conditions. Valid driver's license. Strong troubleshooting, mechanical, and problem-solving skills
