Job Summary We are seeking an
EXPERIENCED
Transmission Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automatic transmission repair and maintenance, with a focus on delivering exceptional service to our customers. This role requires proficiency in diagnosing and repairing various drivetrain systems and powertrain components. Responsibilities Perform thorough transmission diagnostics to identify issues and determine necessary repair Repair and rebuild automatic transmissions. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently. Interpret schematics and technical manuals for complex repairs and installations. Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair needs and recommendations clearly to team. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to enhance workflow and efficiency in the shop. Experience Previous experience as a Transmission Technician or Mechanic is required Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and vehicle maintenance practices is essential. Familiarity with diesel engine repair and powertrain systems is advantageous. Experience with alignment procedures and auto body repair is a plus. Knowledge of automotive systems, including diagrams and troubleshooting techniques. $62,500.00 - $135,000.00 per year
