Sanimax is seeking an experienced Fleet Mechanic to join our South St-Paul team for the day shift Why Join Sanimax? Salary starts from $30/hr to $44/hr (based of experience) Comprehensive benefits package, including Health, Dental, and Vision coverage 401(k) plan with company match up to 5% Quarterly performance bonus of up to 3% Consistent weekday schedule supporting strong work-life balance Join a well-established, environmentally responsible company with over 85 years of industry leadership As a Fleet Mechanic you are responsible for: Perform pre-inspections on all fleet equipment to ensure safety and road readiness Diagnose, repair, and maintain trucks and trailers, with a focus on end-dump equipment Conduct routine maintenance and light repairs on yard equipment Utilize diagnostic tools to accurately identify mechanical and electrical issues Perform welding and metal fabrication tasks (MIG welding preferred) Complete work orders and maintain accurate service records in a timely manner Execute preventive maintenance in compliance with DOT regulations Collaborate closely with the Transportation team to ensure fleet reliability and operational efficiency
Experience Preferred:
Previous experience in trailer repair and maintenance strongly preferred MIG welding experience required Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Working knowledge of DOT standards and preventive maintenance practices Give meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!
