We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Diesel Mechanic / Equipment Technician to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, trucks, small engines, and construction or landscape equipment. This position would be located in South Kansas City. Pay range depends on experience. $20-$35/hr Job Responsibilities Perform basic vehicle maintenance and repairs Diagnose and repair diesel-powered vehicles and equipment Perform small-engine maintenance and repairs Complete welding and fabrication work as needed Inspect equipment, identify mechanical issues, and recommend repairs Perform preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filters, brakes, tires, and fluid checks Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Equipment You May Work On Volvo, Freightliner, Kenworth, Fuso Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge Takeuchi, Bobcat, Caterpillar, John Deere, Hitachi, Powerscreen Toro and Stihl equipment Job Qualifications Previous diesel, automotive, heavy equipment, small-engine, or mechanical repair experience preferred Welding and fabrication experience preferred Ability to diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently Must be dependable and safety-minded Applicants with some of their own tools are preferred Valid driver's license preferred About Pinnacle The Pinnacle Groups work hard to pair top talent with great companies.
