In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and ensuring vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Duties Conduct thorough diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and suspension repairs to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Repair and replace critical components including brakes, shocks & struts, transmissions, powertrain systems, and diesel engines with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and mechanical knowledge to execute repairs efficiently while adhering to safety standards. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive systems. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly and offering maintenance advice to enhance vehicle longevity. Maintain accurate service records, complete auto estimating tasks when necessary, and ensure all work complies with dealership or industry standards. Qualifications Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive suspension systems, transmissions, powertrain components, brakes, and diesel engine repair. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and schematics for efficient troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with 4 wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and oil change procedures. Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of automotive electrical systems. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) or equivalent are a plus; dealership or heavy equipment mechanics background is advantageous.
