Job Description
Installation Trainee / Apprentice This opening is for our Gladstone, Missouri Location- Kansas City Car Stereo located at 7206 N. Oak Trfy. Gladstone, MO 64118 We are growing and looking for an eager trainee to join our team! This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys car audio, vehicles, and technology and wants to learn a skilled trade. No installation experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine desire to learn. As a trainee, you will work alongside experienced technicians and learn how to install: Radios, speakers, amplifiers, and subwoofers Remote starters, security systems, cameras, and accessories Lighting and other vehicle customization products Wiring, system troubleshooting, and proper installation techniques Custom fabrication and equipment use as your skills develop We are looking for someone who: Is dependable, punctual, and ready to work Takes pride in doing clean, careful work Is comfortable working with their hands Can follow instructions and pay close attention to detail Enjoys car audio, vehicles, and technology Is willing to ask questions and learn from experienced technicians Wants to develop valuable skills and grow with our company Works well with others and maintains a professional attitude You will be required to provide your own basic installation tools. As your skills, efficiency, and productivity develop, this position is designed to transition from trainee pay into a performance-based commission structure. Experienced, productive installers on our team have the opportunity to earn $70,000-$100,000+ annually , making this a real career path for someone motivated to learn and succeed.
