Layout Technician Entegee - 3.7 Gladstone, MO Job Details Full-time $29 - $36 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Commuter assistance Health savings account Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Flexible spending account Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Qualifications Measurement-based inspection Assembly quality control testing Monitoring dimensions Quality reports PPAP Full Job Description We are hiring for a Layout Technician in automotive parts manufacturing is responsible for measuring, inspecting, and validating parts, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies to ensure they meet engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and customer specifications.
Schedule:
Tuesday - Friday 5:15 pm-5:15 am Typical Responsibilities- Perform dimensional inspections on automotive components.
- Read and interpret: o Blueprints o Engineering drawings o CAD models o GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
- Use precision measuring equipment such as: o CMMs (Coordinate Measuring Machines) o Faro Arms o Height gauges o Calipers o Micrometers o Optical comparators o Laser scanners
- Create inspection and layout reports.
- Validate first article inspections (FAI) and PPAP documentation.
- Support production launches and tooling tryouts.
- Investigate dimensional issues and non-conformances.
- Work with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Customers to resolve issues.
