Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive repair team as an Automotive Mechanic, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, troubleshoot, and service a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will be vital in delivering top-quality automotive service that keeps our customers moving confidently. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle types, including light-duty cars and heavy-duty trucks, utilizing advanced tools and diagnostic equipment to get the job done right. Duties Diagnose and repair electrical, engine, transmission, driveline, steering, suspension, brake, and HVAC systems Perform advanced diagnostics using scan tools and testing equipment Complete repairs accurately and efficiently Communicate repair needs with the Service and Parts Managers Perform inspections and help maintain our high reconditioning standards Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge across automotive systems including diesel engines, transmissions, suspension systems, electrical systems, and auto body repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics tools and schematics interpretation for accurate troubleshooting. Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, air brake systems, wheel alignment, tire service, shocks & struts replacement, and oil change procedures. Ability to work with various mechanical tools including power tools and welding equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures for both gasoline and diesel engines; experience with heavy equipment mechanics is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid certifications related to automotive repair; ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification is highly desirable.
