Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated A Level Auto Technician to join our dynamic automotive service team. In this role, you will perform advanced repairs and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will help maintain our reputation for exceptional service by accurately diagnosing issues, executing repairs efficiently, and adhering to industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians eager to showcase their mechanical prowess and technical knowledge in a fast-paced environment on a wide range of vehicles. Duties Conduct comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues with powertrain, transmissions, and other vehicle components. Perform repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, diesel engines, steering, suspension, brakes, and electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to execute repairs with precision and efficiency. Calibrate and align vehicle components such as wheel alignment and ADAS sensors to manufacturer specifications. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems accurately. Ensure all repairs meet dealership or industry standards for quality and safety while maintaining detailed service records. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly and offering maintenance recommendations to clients. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or equivalent automotive service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures. Solid mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on GM vehicles or similar makes; familiarity with diesel engine repair is a plus. Proficiency in reading schematics, using diagnostic scanners, and troubleshooting automotive electrical systems. Experience working with vehicle alignment systems, and powertrain components including transmissions. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools. Solid customer service skills to ensure a positive client experience.
