Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, shocks & struts replacements, and auto body repairs as needed. Work on diesel engines and heavy equipment mechanics tasks with precision, adhering to safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools efficiently to complete repairs swiftly. Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex automotive electrical and mechanical systems effectively. Ensure vehicle maintenance records are accurately documented and communicated with customers for transparency and trust. Skills Proven dealership experience or extensive background working in the automotive repair industry. Strong knowledge of automotive suspension systems, brake repair, engine repair, transmission repair, and auto electrical systems. Expertise in diesel engine repair, transmissions (including powertrain), and mechanical systems repair. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics software and schematics for precise troubleshooting. Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and auto estimating software. Ability to work efficiently on vehicles or with a focus on quality workmanship.
