Overview Join our dynamic team as a Daily Part-Time Diagnostic Mechanic and become a vital part of delivering exceptional automotive repair services! In this role, you will perform precise diagnostics and repairs. Duties Conduct comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced scan tools and schematics to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues. Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, powertrain components, suspension systems, brakes, shocks & struts, and automotive electrical systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools to execute maintenance tasks efficiently. Complete oil changes, wheel alignments, tire services, brake repairs, and suspension system repairs with precision. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex automotive systems accurately. Maintain detailed records of diagnostic findings, repair procedures, and parts used for each vehicle serviced. Ensure all work complies with dealership standards and safety regulations while providing excellent customer service. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with a focus on diagnostics and mechanical systems repair. Strong Ability to read schematics accurately and utilize diagnostic software effectively. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components including transmissions and diesel engines. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid certification or licensing in automotive repair or diesel mechanics is advantageous. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. This position will be as needed and paid daily, we need someone flexible with how much work they want to do.
