This is a very fast paced opportunity that requires the ability to multitask at a high level. The right individual has some experience around vehicles but does not require formal training.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, minor repairs, and documentation. Communicate with service advisor when additional repairs are needed or when repairs cannot be completed in the scheduled time period. Inspect vehicles to ensure that all features function properly. Perform Missouri Vehicle Inspections.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

General automotive service to include; oil changes, flushes, basic maintenance, tire rotation & repairs, inspections and other repairs as per repair order. Team oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service. Must have a valid driver's license. Automotive maintenance experience preferred but not required. MVI license required or obtaining license within 30 days of hire. Previous experience at a Ford dealership is a plus Ability to identify the problem quickly Knowledge of automobiles Effective analytical and communication skills Strong reading, computer, and mathematics skills Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications Comfortable operating electronic diagnostic equipment High school diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year in service department Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic computer skills Positive, friendly attitude
