Key Results Areas Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues with engines, transmissions, electrical systems, suspension, and other vehicle components. Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle systems including powertrain, vehicle suspension, electrical wiring diagrams interpretation, and transmission systems. Repair or replace mechanical parts such as belts, brakes, steering components, and diesel engines (on rare occasions) with precision and attention to detail. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for tasks like welding, alignment adjustments, and component installation. Interpret schematics and automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot complex electrical issues. Ensure vehicles meet safety standards by performing inspections and quality checks before returning them to customers. Perform street and motorsport alignments. Mount and balance tires. Installation of aftermarket tuning products. Interact with customer RO's using the shop management software. Qualifications Honest, punctual and drug free. A desire to serve customers and grow with the company. Capable of independent work. Neat and tidy personal appearance. Ability to use punctuation and grammar correctly. Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive repair. Proficiency in automotive diagnostics and familiarity with automotive electrical systems. Hands-on experience with schematics, wiring diagrams, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and automotive repair tools. Mechanical knowledge spanning powertrain repairs, vehicle transmission system repair, vehicle suspension system repair, and diesel engine repair. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive diagnostic software. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately and work efficiently on complex vehicle systems. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on clear communication and professionalism.
