Job Description
TDR Auto Plaza is seeking a skilled and motivated Used Car Technician to help ensure our pre-owned inventory meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and reliability. If you take pride in your work, have strong diagnostic and repair skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced dealership environment, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities Perform inspections on used vehicle inventory. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns. Complete reconditioning and repair work efficiently and accurately. Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, brakes, tires, and fluid services. Perform safety inspections and ensure vehicles meet dealership standards. Document repairs and recommendations clearly. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications Previous automotive technician experience required. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities. Knowledge of domestic and import vehicle systems. Ability to perform repairs independently and efficiently. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. NYS Inspector License preferred (if applicable). ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
