Rotate and inspect tires and check tire pressure. Inspect and top off fluids , including coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid, and windshield washer fluid. Replace basic maintenance items such as engine air filters, cabin air filters, wiper blades, and batteries . Perform basic inspections of brakes, belts, hoses, lights, and other vehicle components . Check vehicles for maintenance or safety concerns and report findings to the service advisor or technician. Follow Honda's recommended maintenance schedules and dealership procedures. Properly use lifts, hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and other shop equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area . Complete repair orders and document services performed. Follow all dealership and OSHA safety procedures. Provide professional and courteous customer service when interacting with customers or service staff. Common qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous automotive experience is helpful but often not required for entry-level positions . Basic knowledge of automobiles and maintenance procedures. Ability to use basic hand tools. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Ability to lift and move tires, parts, and equipment and work on your feet for extended periods. Willingness to learn Honda-specific maintenance procedures.
