Job Description

Job Summary Join our dynamic automotive team as a Lube Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles operate smoothly and safely. This energetic position involves performing routine vehicle maintenance services with precision and efficiency, helping to keep vehicles in top condition. As a key member of our service department, you will work closely with experienced technicians and customer service teams to deliver exceptional automotive care. Your expertise in vehicle maintenance and mechanical knowledge will contribute to a fast-paced, rewarding environment focused on quality service and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections quickly and accurately. Conduct alignments, tire services, and other routine maintenance tasks using hand tools and power tools. Assist in automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical issues and recommend appropriate repairs. Use mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs or maintenance under supervision when necessary. Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure all tools are properly stored after use. Communicate effectively with customers about their vehicle's needs and explain services performed. Support the service team with vehicle maintenance tasks, heavy lifting, and other duties as assigned to ensure efficient workflow. Experience Dealership experience or prior automotive repair background is highly preferred. Proven mechanic experience with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and vehicle systems. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment. Knowledge of automotive maintenance procedures including oil changes, alignments, tire service, and general vehicle upkeep. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while providing technical explanations. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently as part of daily duties.
