Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drive systems, ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications. Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs and wheel alignments to optimize handling and safety. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams to troubleshoot electrical systems such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and automotive electrical components. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely. Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and other complex vehicle systems with precision. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. Skills Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics. Proficiency in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and understanding vehicle electrical systems. Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools for troubleshooting complex issues. Mechanical knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures across various models, including GM vehicles if possible. Skilled in vehicle transmission system repair, powertrain diagnostics, and vehicle suspension system repair. Familiarity with ADAS technology integration and calibration processes. Ability to interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately for electrical troubleshooting. Experience with auto estimating software for service documentation and parts ordering. Strong knowledge of automotive service standards, welding techniques, and maintenance best practices. Excellent technical proficiency combined with a customer-focused approach that emphasizes quality workmanship.
