TECHNICIAN

Gear Haven Auto & Diesel

• Nixa, Missouri Gear Haven Auto & Diesel is looking for a skilled, dependable Automotive & Diesel Technician to join our growing team.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, knows how to diagnose problems instead of just replacing parts, and wants to work in a shop where quality work is valued and good technicians are respected.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Diagnose, repair, and service gas and diesel vehicles
• Perform routine maintenance, brakes, suspension, steering, and general repairs
• Diagnose engine, drivability, and electrical issues
• Handle more involved mechanical and diesel repairs based on experience
• Use modern diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and service information
• Clearly document findings and recommended repairs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with the service team to keep jobs moving efficiently and customers informed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Automotive and/or diesel repair experience preferred
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting ability
• Dependable and able to show up ready to work
• Attention to detail and pride in doing the job correctly
• Ability to work independently while still being part of a team
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Your own basic set of professional tools appropriate for your experience level Don't check every box?
