Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Automotive Technician and become a vital part of delivering exceptional vehicle repair and maintenance services. In this energetic role, you will diagnose, repair, and service a wide range of vehicle systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly while providing outstanding customer service that builds trust and loyalty. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge automotive technology in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Pay is negotiable based on experience. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, suspension, electrical, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems). Repair and maintain vehicles by replacing or repairing faulty components using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair techniques. Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems accurately. Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, wheel alignments, and suspension system repairs. Diagnose and repair powertrain components including transmissions, diesel engines, and drivetrain systems to ensure optimal vehicle performance. Utilize auto estimating software to assess repair costs and communicate effectively with customers about necessary repairs and services. Collaborate with team members to ensure all repairs meet quality standards while adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer specifications. Qualifications Proven dealership or service shop experience as an Automotive Technician or Service Technician. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics and repairs. Familiarity with automotive electrical systems, wiring diagrams, schematics, and ADAS technology. Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment. Experience working on vehicles or similar makes is highly desirable. Knowledge of vehicle transmission systems, powertrain components, suspension systems, and diesel engine repairs. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients. Certified with the Missouri State Highway Patrol to perform Motor Vehicle Safety Inspections.
