Job Description
Lube Technician / Automotive Service Technician Mathis Motors is a growing, family owned automotive dealership committed to delivering quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our service team. Compensation $18.00-$21.00 per hour Pay based on experience, qualifications, and skill level Schedule Full-Time (40 Hours Per Week) Monday-Friday 9:30 AM - 5:30 PM No weekends Position Responsibilities As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and assisting with light mechanical repairs, including: Oil and filter changes Tire rotations and balancing Brake inspections and brake replacement Suspension inspections and component replacement Air and cabin filter replacement Wiper blade installation Fluid level inspections and top-offs Battery testing and replacement Performing multi-point vehicle inspections Identifying maintenance concerns and communicating findings to management Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment Assisting with additional shop duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience as a Lube Technician or Automotive Technician is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude and willingness to learn. Dependable with excellent attendance. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day.
