We are known for our fast, reliable service and commitment to supporting contractors and municipalities with professional, high-quality repairs and maintenance. About theRole:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Mechanic to join our Ditch Witch Service department in Sullivan, MO. This position requires hands-on expertise in automotive and/or heavy machinery repair while traveling to various customer locations, strong diagnostic ability, and professional communication skills. The ideal candidate will be a team player who can work efficiently under pressure and maintain high repair standards. CDL is required.Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on Ditch Witch and other heavy construction equipment.
- Conduct preventive maintenance, component replacements, and system testing to manufacturer standards.
- Use computer systems to locate parts, read service manuals, and interpret schematics.
- Write clear, detailed service reports.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in Ditch Witch online and hands-on training programs to maintain certification.
- Keep work areas organized and maintain high safety and cleanliness standards.
Training & Growth:
- Participate in official Ditch Witch training and certification programs (online and practical).
