In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of vehicles, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Your expertise will help keep our customers' vehicles running smoothly and efficiently. Duties Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Repair and maintain various mechanical systems including engines, transmissions, suspensions, brakes, shocks & struts, and powertrain components. Conduct oil changes, tire services, wheel alignments, and vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and reliability. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy equipment mechanics techniques to complete repairs efficiently. Work on diesel engines and heavy-duty vehicles, including auto body repairs and auto estimating when necessary. Follow dealership procedures for vehicle inspections and repairs while adhering to safety standards. Communicate effectively with customers regarding repair needs and maintenance recommendations to enhance customer service experience. Requirements Proven experience working in the automotive repair industry with dealership experience preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems including electrical, powertrain, transmission, suspension, brakes, and diesel engines. Ability to read and interpret schematics and automotive diagnostics tools accurately. Hands-on experience with ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), air brake systems, wheel alignments, and auto electrical systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical repair tools. Knowledge of auto body repair processes and auto estimating is a plus. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certification or equivalent is highly desirable. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
