Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated B Level Automotive Technician to join our well established family owned shop. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in vehicle repair and maintenance, including brakes, tires, alignments, fluid services, suspension, and general maintenance. They will also posses sufficient personal tools to complete on the job tasks. Advanced tools will be provided by the business when required. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of vehicles and to further your skill and education moving to an A level role. Candidates should have strong mechanical knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, and a commitment to delivering high-quality automotive service. Prior experience, certifications, and inspectors license a bonus Responsibilities Service vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, shocks & struts, suspension work, HVAC and brake repairs Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair procedures Perform thorough vehicle inspections and notate concerns for customers Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and parts used Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs and recommendations clearly Experience Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair procedures ASE Certification and State MVI License prefferred Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, diesel engines, transmissions, and powertrain components Hands-on experience with wheel alignment, suspension systems, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, and oil change services Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive maintenance tools Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction
