Job Description

Job Summary:
The Service Tech will maintain and service all fountain, slush, tea, coffee, water equipment, vending, and cooler machines. Drive a company vehicle to travel to customer locations to service equipment.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

in everything we do. Repair and service all fountains, slush, tea, coffee & water equipment. Also services vending machines and coolers. Perform job duties with minimal supervision on a timely basis. Educating customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures. Collecting accurate and complete customer information via hand-held or service tickets. Prioritizing and scheduling repair and preventative maintenance calls daily to meet customer service based on a priority system. Maintaining service truck cleanliness; organize parts in bins; operate vehicles according to Brown fleet safety standards. Responsible for following standard procedures for diagnosis and repair for every repair and preventative maintenance call. Maintaining and replenishing truck inventories. Responsible for settling money due from customer repair activities. Closing out all service calls daily with dispatch or answering service. Correctly and fully complete all necessary forms for each service call. Participate in regularly scheduled training sessions. Ensure OSHA and EPA government regulations are followed when performing repairs.
Physical Demands:
Able to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously and 60 lbs. intermittently. Must be able to bend, stoop and climb on a frequent basis. Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time. Drive a vehicle and enter and exit the vehicle multiple times throughout the shift.
Work Environment:
Work in many different environments: outside, inside, break rooms, stores, warehouse Exposed to cold, hot, and rainy conditions. Tolerate working in cold temperatures as low as 35 degrees frequently.
