Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Mechanic to join our dynamic team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the automotive repair industry. As an Apprentice Mechanic, you will work under the guidance of experienced mechanics, learning essential skills and techniques while contributing to the maintenance and repair of vehicles. Responsibilities Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on various types of vehicles. Utilize tools and equipment, including an Ohmmeter, to conduct tests and measurements on electrical systems. Support senior mechanics in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working with tools and machinery. Document repairs and services performed on vehicles accurately. Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of automotive systems. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Basic understanding of automotive systems is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential. Familiarity with tools used in automotive repair, particularly an Ohmmeter, is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Must be able to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with vehicle maintenance.
