Automotive Technician Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicle systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This role requires proficiency in automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, and the use of diagnostic tools. Duties Perform comprehensive automotive repairs, including engine, transmission, brake, and suspension work. Conduct diagnostic assessments using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately. Troubleshoot and repair automotive electrical systems, ensuring proper functionality of components such as sensors, wiring, and control modules. Utilize specialized diagnostic equipment to evaluate vehicle systems and determine necessary repairs. Service vehicle systems by performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid replacements. Work with advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to calibrate and repair safety features like lane departure warnings, adaptive cruise control, and collision avoidance systems. Use hand tools efficiently to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle components. Maintain detailed records of repairs performed and communicate findings effectively with customers. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and manufacturer specifications. Requirements Proven experience in automotive repair and diagnostics. Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems and vehicle electronics. Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and equipment. Ability to diagnose complex vehicle issues accurately and efficiently. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly. Proficiency in using hand tools and specialized automotive repair equipment. Knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures and safety protocols. Experience working with ADAS calibration and repair is a plus. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
