Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Lube Technician to perform routine maintenance and lubrication services on customer vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer specifications. This role is hands-on, customer-facing, and requires attention to safety, cleanliness, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Perform oil changes, draining and refilling with manufacturer-specified oil and filters. Check and top off essential fluids (brake, power steering, coolant, windshield wiper fluid) . Inspect engine, chassis, and underbody for leaks or issues; report findings to supervisor. Lubricate moving parts (engine, wheel bearings, etc.) and maintain engine cleanliness. Rotate and balance tires; check and adjust tire pressure as needed. Replace air filters, wiper blades, and other minor parts as required. Document all work performed on repair orders and maintain accurate service records. Keep the service bay clean, organized, and in compliance with safety and cleanliness. Interact professionally with customers, explaining services and charges. Operate tools and equipment safely; follow OSHA and dealership safety protocols Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; GED acceptable. Knowledge of basic automotive systems and lubrication procedures. Ability to use specialized lubrication and service equipment. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to learn and follow manufacturer technical bulletins and training programs. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prolonged standing, bending, and reaching. Exposure to oil, grease, and other automotive fluids.
