Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Ford Mechanic Trainee to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive vehicle repairs and maintenance, ensuring our customers' vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Your expertise will contribute directly to customer satisfaction and the ongoing success of our dealership. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of vehicles, including GM models, utilizing your mechanical skills and industry experience. Duties Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, and brake repairs to keep vehicles in optimal condition Diagnose and repair automotive electrical systems, suspension systems, transmissions, and powertrain components using schematics and diagnostic tools Perform advanced repairs including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), diesel engine repairs, auto body work, welding, and heavy equipment mechanics Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively during mechanical systems repair Inspect vehicles for safety issues related to shocks & struts, alignment, air brakes, and other critical systems; perform necessary adjustments or replacements Read and interpret schematics for complex mechanical or electrical repairs; follow detailed repair procedures accurately Maintain detailed service records and communicate repair findings clearly with customers to ensure transparency and trust Qualifications Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, transmissions, suspension systems, brake repair, and wheel alignment Familiarity with ADAS technology and auto estimating software is a plus Mechanical knowledge complemented by proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients Join our team as a Ford Mechanic Trainee if you're passionate about cars, eager to grow your skills in a supportive environment, and ready to deliver exceptional service that keeps our customers moving forward!
